FAQs FAQs

CAPI© (Cushioned Anti-Pronoation Inserts) are anatomically designed for comfort and have been found helpful in the prevention or treatment of shin splints, plantar fasciitis, heel pain, stress fractures, runner's knee, hip pain, foot ache and low back pain. CAPI's are a patented, FDA-registered product, originally designed to help prevent pronation, a rotation of the foot. These inserts are also joyously effective by people with many other foot problems. Most CAPIs users today are professional athletes or persons under a medical professional's care. The effectiveness of CAPIs is guaranteed - or your money back!

Key Design Elements

Originally developed by a podiatrist and sports medicine specialist in consultation with an orthopedic surgeon, CAPIs design is intended to help prevent common foot-related injuries without prescription or expensive orthotics. The CAPI is shock-absorbing, made of DYNACOMTM, to maximize foot support, cushioning, and control. DYNACOMTM, a unique space-age material that provides a highly uniform closed-cell structure while allowing the thickness and shape of the insert to vary, provides maximum shock absorption in the heel area and support throughout the integrated arch support system. DYNACOMTM, therefore, absorbs more energy and lasts longer than other inserts.

Check with your doctor to see if CAPIs will work for you instead of orthotics! Orthotics are more rigid and less comfortable, heavier, and provide less shock absorbtion. Orthotics must be "broken-in" by the wearer, while CAPIs DYNACOMTM molds to the foot. Plus, DYNACOMTM has no "rubber" odor, and is made with an anti-bacterial treated cover that fights foot odor. DYNACOMTM, unlike many rubber-based products, works against excessive foot moisture and heat build-up.

CAPIs are effective because they protect the feet and legs during exercise. Special bio-mechanically designed contours support and encourage correct foot position and weight distribution, resulting in reduced muscle fatique. The fully-integrated arch support system runs from the heel cup through the varus wedge (anti-pronation device). CAPIs also contain a lateral support system, which holds up the "first ray" and ensures the muscle contractions of the foot work properly.
